Stand up Comedy Classes– Taught by two of Chicago’s funniest stand ups, Jodi Kirk & Sydney Adeniyi, McKay Arts Stand up Classes are off of the map funny. Not only will you will learn the art of mastering a great stand up routine, you will also gain insight into the business side of things! The Class will end with a live performance at a comedy club! ( 100 for 5 weeks)
Guitar Classes Taught by Recording artist Clare Adella (“Word for Word” available on itunes) our guitar class is second to none. Clare brings a fun and exciting technique to teaching music! At the end of the course you get to perform a show at a club in Chicago! ($175 for 7 weeks)
Spoken Word– Taught by Jordy Williams (Actor/Poet/Artistic Director of Dialogue Theatre Company) You will spit fire!!! Come learn the beautiful art of creating and performing your own works of poetry!!!!! Perform?!? Oh yes!! You will perform a show of your works at the end of the session!! ($100 for 5 weeks)
SUMMER CAMP FOR KIDS!!!
McKay Arts Kids Summer Improv Camp Starts June 25th! Our improv camp offers a safe, fun and exciting environment where kids can get their funny on!! Each Session runs Monday thru Friday 10am to 1pm, for two weeks. At the end of the second week, we do a live improv show!!! Those shows will be performed on the Saturday following the second week!!!! ($175 for 2 weeks)
